Starter Motor

The starter motor is the mechanism that initiates the vehicle’s engine operation. It operates using power from the battery. When the ignition switch is turned to the start position, the starter gear extends from the starter motor housing and engages with the flywheel, rotating it within the engine. The electric motor that turns the engine shaft is called the starter motor. It converts electrical energy into mechanical energy to start the engine.
