Poly-V Belts (Ribbed Belts)

Poly-V belts, also known as ribbed belts, emerged as a result of technological advancements in power transmission components. They ingeniously combine the flexibility of flat belts with the power transmission capabilities of V-belts. 

These belts offer economical solutions even under demanding drive conditions, such as those involving high transmission ratios, elevated belt speeds, and small pulley or idler diameters. 

Systems with fixed center distances can operate efficiently without the need for any external tensioning devices.
